Executed for shoplifting

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPNX4aWOim4

There's no doubt that many people become cops because they want to kill another person.
This pig murdered this girl.

It's generally not a good idea to drive away from the police, especially when one is standing right in front of your car in which case it becomes more like trying to run a cop over.

This is what they call the Darwin award. You can get away with that shit here in Europe but American cops are known for being locked and loaded.

reply

There used to be a TV show called World's Scariest Police Chases , man I fuckin loved that show; anyways they couldn't even have that show anymore cause cops just kill people before they have a chance to flee.

reply

What bugs me about it is that the cop shot before moving. I understand that he felt he might be in danger, but he also put a lot of other people at risk. Her foot could have hit the gas and she could have done a lot of damage. It's lucky the car just rolled.

You must have posted the wrong link by accident, because that video doesn't show anyone being "executed for shoplifting," nor even anything similar. It shows someone being shot while trying to run over a ~200-pound person with her ~2-ton car.

suicide by Cop

Why is a pregnant person stealing booze?

reply

Resale, one hopes.

So you're just going to ignore the fact that she tried to drive off with the cop standing in front of her car and him almost being run over?

reply

Curious about who lets stories like this run and how much money from Russia and China they have in their bank accounts.

reply

Cops piss me off but in this case the car was a weapon and she was a dumbass - Cop acted in justifiable self-defense.

reply

He PURPOSEFULLY positioned himself in front of the car so that if she tried to flee he would have cause to shoot her. Isn't it standard procedure for one pig to stand by the drivers side (while talking to the driver) , and the other pig stands at the PASSENGER SIDE while observing the situation?

ALSO , if you watch the entire video...why does the first pig , the one communicating with the driver , why does he immediately try breaking her window? How about showing a little tact , showing a little patience?

Cops: "OH NO SHE'S NOT COMPLYING! BREAK HER FUCKING WINDOW AND DRAG HER PREGNANT ASS OUT!"

reply

BECAUSE SHE WAS ABOUT TO DRIVE OFF...SHE IS A SEASONED THIEF WHO WOULD NOT HAVE SURRENDERED...SHE WOULD HAVE HIT THAT COP WITH THE CAR...SHE WOULD HAVE FLED...SHE GOT WHAT SHE ASKED FOR.

reply

The whole thing makes me depressed. Lives ruined and lost. I don’t understand why anyone would threaten a cop holding them at gunpoint. That’s a lot of bravado with a stranger pointing a gun at you. I also can’t imagine being the cop who now lives with having shot a pregnant lady. The entire story is terrible.

reply

So execute someone for "driving off?"

reply

No, execute for her putting his life in danger for almost running him over intentionally or not.

reply

💯

It warms my heart to see you two agreeing about something.
This could be the start of a beautiful friendship:)

I threw up a bit.

Psychopaths recruit psychopaths.

reply

MOST POLICE OFFICERS ARE DECENT PEOPLE...LIKE ANY PROFESSION...THERE ARE SOME DICKHEADS...THIS IS NOT A DICKHEAD...UNLESS WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE THIEF.

reply

And the problem with cops is that the dickhead minority have batons, guns, and dickhead allies who will cover for them if they do something bad.

And it's been going on forever, when I was a kid 50+ year ago there were protests against "police brutality", and well. The police brutality never stopped, although I don't think this is a case in point.

reply

I.A. NEEDS TO STEP UP THEIR GAME.

reply

It'll take a lot more than that, because there's a whole internal culture of protecting one's fellows, even when they're brutal, corrupt, or more criminal than the criminals they're arresting. Which has been reinforced by staff shortages, nobody wants to fire all the bad apples when they can't get replacements.

Weird little factoid, I live 500 miles from San Diego, and I've been seeing ads on TV inviting me to apply to the San Diego police department. And this is a gorgeous city where lots of people want to live, it's got to be worse EVERYWHERE else.

reply

I LIVE 30 MILES FROM SAN DIEGO...I SPENT THE MAJORITY OF MY TEENS AND 20S PURSUING A CRIMINAL LIFESTYLE...I HAVE HAD DOZENS OF RUN INS WITH THE POLICE...NEVER DID I SEE OR EXPERIENCE ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT WAS REQUIRED FOR OR DICTATED BY THE SITUATION...I KNOW THIS ISSUE IS REAL...I JUST THINK IT IS MUCH SMALLER PERCENTAGE OF CORRUPTION THAN IT IS MADE OUT TO BE.

reply

Sadly, this is one of those situations where a few bad apples can destroy the reputation of the decent majority.

I don't expect to see a solution in my lifetime. It's been fifty years since the protests against police brutality I saw as a child, and fifty since "Serpico", and here we still are.
