Let’s get nasty together with some Grindhouse action! Oh yeah!

I am not feeling too well so I’m only going for 1 movie/night. If the night owls want to watch something else let me know and I’ll edit the thread.

This Movie Party will allow two things to happen;
-people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.

Event #1: Friday night, July 21st 9PM Eastern time (if you want to watch live) and event closes Sunday at 5PM (if you haven’t been able to watch live.)

I don't think that made sense with the rest of the movie. It was exploitive crap. I give it a 6/10 that's my rating for all movies that don't really move me, but are fine. Its ok, its fine, that should be a death sentence for movies.

The ending is a bit shit to be sure but the gritty nastiness recalls some of the really messy drive in movies of the 70s.

Are you downtown with Frogtown in 15 minutes?

The acting and writing aren't very good, but there are some trashy entertaining moments. Not everything works though and the ending doesn't fit with the movie. 6/10 is my rating.

its amazing how many movies could move up their rating with a good ending. I would have gone with her doing a full on bloodbath kill and walking away smiling.

I’m not sure why the ending was written that way, I’d have ended Kill Bill/The Bride style too but whatever, it was pretty good.

There's no connection, that's why movies like this don't succeed. I don't know if its the actresses, who are pointless or the writing.

I enjoyed what this was doing with low budget grindhouse tropes, but it waffled on the ending. The thing this did with such a low budget are admirable, however. 6

At the end of the day there's no connection to the main characters. I didn't care if she lived or died. Its all surface, but I think thats what they were going for so its........................FINE.

Luckily, Hell Comes to Frogtown is an incredible watch. It will make up for the disappointment of the last movie, I assure everyone!

Love it. Terrific movie and story with some really quaint practical effects scenes. I’ve seen it multiple times.

95% of little boys would like to be left alone with Jenny Agutter!
The other 5% of guys would prefer Michael York’s company but I’m not judgmental about that stuff. No dog in that fight.
