What's your experience with god?

The fossil record is filled with extinct species. Extinction is, given a million or so years, the rule.

Our species is, outside, a few hundred thousands of years old. All closely related species are extinct or, in the case of Neanderthals, Denisovans, perhaps another one or two ghost populations, partially embedded in our DNA. C'est la vie.

@ Tonez: What a ridiculous, childish argument (shot down in the Scopes "Monkey Trial" about 80 years ago.) Have you seen all the fossiiized skeletons unearthed of ape/human hybrids dug up over the last century or so? They have discovered whole skeletons of "ape-like" humans that became EXTINCT (Neanderthals, Homo Erectus, Denisovans). OUR ape-like ancestors developed the skills to survive and thrive and eventually become us. Every major university throughout the world has departments of anthropology that study just this. There are probably hundreds of museums displaying the evidence found telling the story of the evolution of man from a simian-like creature. You are just a religious nut or a total fking idiot. I think that most of your type's problem is a failure of imagination (to appreciate the time-frame of human evolution, some 6 million years) and ignorance of how evolution works in general. You go on living in your dark-age of ignorance, and good luck in your life (I think you're going to need it!)
