He's an absolutely amazing singer.

(This is in no way defending the things he's done, but I'm a pretty big fan of their older stuff and I won't deny his vocal talent.)

It’s pretty shitty to cheat on the spouse and I’m against it but it’s not like he committed a violent armed robbery or a murder.

Some guys get so much ass tossed at them that they just get weak and fool around.

I saw a picture of his wife btw, I don’t think any guy would run around on her! Holy shit, a smoking hot Lady.
He denies it but who really knows what goes on in someone else’s marriage?

Weird story, he seems like a nice dude. Hope it all works out.

Sure he was a full. Especially having such a beautiful wife, it’s hard to believe that a girl like her would be cheated on. No ?
But yeah agree Adam looks like a really nice guy but hey no one’s perfect.

Being cancelled isn't a real thing imo. Chris Brown has committed crimes and still makes and sells music, so what does cancelling someone do? If many people don't like a celebrity, they won't buy albums or concert tickets, that's an old reality with a new name, so I'm not sure what Levine has lost in the process of his cancellation.

Sure, but he hasn't lost his job, his music still plays on the radio and he's still earning plenty of money despite losing fans. So all that's happened is that some people don't support his career anymore, and that happens to musicians who are well liked.

Just out of curiosity, how has he been cancelled? I'm out of the loop. I know about the alleged texts, but have fans cancelled him? I know the band cancelled their tour, but I didn't think it was because of this.

I didn’t know their tour was canceled but this drama happened not long after their single girls like you.

and after that ridiculous scandal haven’t seen any music of them being promoted or going high on streaming.
Their last successful song was that one: girls like you, which is a very nice catchy song.
I loved that song.

Looks like they released a single in May called Middle Ground. That usually means there's a new album in the future.

Looking at their singles releases, Memories was released the year after Girls Like You and hit number 2 on the US charts, and while the album Memories is on only hit 8 on the charts, it is their 9th album and they may just not be as popular as they used to be. Especially not with younger fans.

I really don't know. I'm not invested as I don't really like Levine's voice. The drop in popularity could be for many reasons. Yeah it's kinda creepy if he was cheating on his pregnant wife, but it could also be that he's not really in the spotlight as much after leaving The Voice.

You make great points, like the lack of promotion or success is not really canceling but just regular loose of popularity due to time and lack of exposure.

I’m not a hard core fan I do like him and the band quite a lot and I just realized after that scandal heard nothing from them musically wise so associated that he was canceled and hence his musical career was over.

But probably as you said it wasn’t really canceling what happened just regular fading from popularity, singers sadly seem to be very disposable now, they just get two or three hits and you never hear from them anymore.

One thing wrong they did from the beginning wa not giving the other guys a little more of the spotlight to not just look like the Adam Levine show.

I don't think he's been cancelled so much as he's received a lot of media attention. A lot of singers cheat on their wives with tons of women, it seems like he stayed loyal for a long time (still wrong ofc but not the worst compared to others that haven't been "cancelled.")
