shareWHAT KIND of truth mate?
shareAbout if the Earth is round and if it spins on its axis and rotates around the Sun? Or God? Or laws? Or nature? Or humanity? Or ourselves?
shareI'm may be young, but I wasn't born yesterday. And obviously the world is flat. It rotates like a lazy Susan. My God? Your God? Who gives a sneeze? The law of nature, there is no humanity.
shareRemember "A Few Good Men" (1992) film?
"You want the truth? You can't HANDLE the truth!", lol. :)
Great movie great scene. Barely any movies these days that feel cultural or
zeitgeist specific. Having fun at the movies, these days, seems underrated
And that was Jack Nicholson quoting it. May he live long.
shareRecommended me a movie you are for sure I haven't seen.
share"Someone to Die For" (1995) by Clay Borris starring Corbin Bernsen. Although I don't think its actually a good film its rather average overall but it did have some value to it and one scene in it literally made me cry and I rarely if ever these days cry during the movies and like to think in cinema I've seen it all.
I have many others too but I need to know what films you appreciate to give recommendations.
Seen it.
shareSorry... You HAVE seen it, SERIOUSLY?
That very rare straight to video Canadian/American psychological police thriller? Really? Any thoughts? And how did you find it?
I may be confusing it with a nicole kidman/Gus van sant flick.
shareHaha, you SURE HAVE mate. That film is called "To Die For" (1995) (also released that year, though, as few as would even bother to care, it is believed that other movie actually came out and was made a little earlier) and yes I have seen it also. Very good as that film is overall.
shareEasy mistake, I reckon. Both movies seem average
shareTry again.
shareYou come up with a movie I haven't seen. Ima wanna watch
shareLe Jeu Avec Le Feu (Playing With Fire) (1975) by Alain Robbe-Grillet?
shareDon't try to hard. Something I'm going to watch, you know. A cool movie, that's most likely underrated.
shareOK, you can PM me if you want, I will need to know what films you LIKE as in, maybe you prefer modern blockbusters to arthouse cult fare (nothing wrong with that), maybe you like comedies more than dramas etc.
shareI only like movies I think are good.
shareWell...
Good, bad, average etc etc, or even GREAT, classic, masterpiece, they are often in the eye of the beholder.
Most of us do indeed prefer good movies. But I enjoy the so-called "bad" ones at times too, love Ed Wood's "Plan 9 From Outer Space" (1959) for instance.
But what I also meant are what genre and type of films you may personally prefer. Good or not... Some people like say happy films more than sad ones, and some prefer say dark and violent ones to simple ones, its all a matter of personal taste and preference.
Although I dig many films many consider universally great too from "A Clockwork Orange" to Taxi Driver (1976) to "The Godfather" at least first two films to Fritz Lang German classics from 1920s and 1930s etc.
Gigli is one of my favourite movies. So I see where you're trying to park your car

If this is true, then your system is fucked
