A Positive Fashion/Body/Cultural Change
That I've observed is that a lot more younger, fashion-conscious, confident and aspirational women are a lot more comfortable being curvy and well-built these days. I don't mean 'fat', far less obese. There is nothing healthy or sexy about obesity (and anyone who says otherwise is basically a borderline necrophiliac who thinks morbidity is sexy). But I do mean NOT frickin stick-thin, starved and aerobicised to exhaustion. And that's a good thing. Anorexia is at least as unhealthy and off-putting as obesity. I'm seeing actors/models with broader shoulders/thicker legs/slight muffintops/a little bit of a belly, and that's hot, because it means they probably *eat* and are not constantly fretting about needing to be size 0 or get to 90 lbs.
Obviously, I don't judge anyone on how they look. As long as they're happy with what they are, good for them (although, I would always caution against obesity and anorexia because those people are only threatening their own health/longevity). But I can't deny that curvier/thiccer, but NOT fat/obese, women, who still love fashion, and still care about looking and feeling sexy, are attractive, and a positive shift after the early 00s size 0 nonsense.
