How the hell does this guy do this prank? I'm stumped.

Andy Gross is some sort of magician or comedian, I dunno, and he does this prank where his body is cut in half but he walks around. There's obviously no green screen involved because it's filmed with a handheld camera. How does he do this? I've tried Google but cannot find any answers. Does anyone have any idea?

Thanks! So this illusion works only if you're in front of Andy Gross. I originally saw this video about 10 years ago and have never figured it out. Mystery solved.

It's quite simple how he does it. You know those tricks where the magician gets a volunteer from the crowd to cut them in half? Well he was the volunteer.

Yeah I used to watch him as a kid. He got me interested in figuring out how magicians perform their illusions. Contrary to what other magicians who were pissed off at him for revealing their secrets, I believe that knowing how a magic trick is done doesn't make it any less impressive.
