It fueled a growing right-wing militia movement. It is a bit of a rallying cry for them.

Lots of disinformation immediately after, along the lines that the FBI started the fires. It was a harbinger of Q-Anon, Info Wars, etc.

Waco & Ruby Ridge fueled, directly, the rage of the Oklahoma City bombers.
