All great songs...I did not realize that he wrote "Always Something There To Remind Me." I thought for the longest time that Naked Eyes was the original artist and didn't realize that was a cover. However, I didn't know that Burt Bacharach wrote it!
"(They Long To Be) Close To You"...I had completely zoned on that one. What a great song...makes me miss Karen Carpenter again for sure!

shareI had forgotten about this one also. Yes, I saw a Burt Bacharach special on PBS a few years ago and there was a clip of Christopher Cross actually performed this song with Bacharach, if I remember correctly. What a great song!
