shareOnly 6 more weeks? That would be a short winter around here. Our last big snowfall is usually in early April, which is about 8 weeks away. In 2020 we had snowfall on May 9th, which is about 13 weeks away:

shareI have lived in Pennsylvania and Ohio and don't think I have ever seen snow in April let alone May.
shareSnowfall in May is rare here, which is why I took a picture of it in 2020, but snowfall in early April is very common. By mid March it starts getting warmer and most of the existing snow on the ground melts, but then we usually get one final snow storm, often right on April 1st, kind of like an April Fools' prank from Mother Nature.
When I was a kid in the '80s, there was one year when we were still ice skating / playing hockey at the local outdoor rink during April vacation, which is the third week of April.
Mom and I watched a fun documentary from Animal Planet (on Discovery+) about Groundhog Day. It was very entertaining to watch :)

YES!!! Considering how Phil has historically been wrong more than 50% of the time, odds are an early spring.
