A popular comedian that you don't find funny at all?

I'll start. Jane Lynch.

reply

Will Ferrell. He has his moments, but for the most part I don't get his humor.

reply

Hilarious in Step Brothers.

reply

ON THIS WE AGREE.

reply

I couldn't agree more and Step Brothers was obnoxious.

reply

I've only liked him in The Other Guys, but for the most part I agree.

reply

I never found Jerry Seinfeld to be particularly funny. To me he was the straight guy on 'Seinfeld' and the other actors were the comedians. And his little "stand-up" piece in front of a "live audience" at the start of each episode wasn't funny either.

reply

You know what? I actually enjoy and laugh at Jerry when he breaks away from playing the straight man.

Example, the Serenity Now episode where he gets in touch with his emotions, first learning to get mad and then becoming too soft and saying he loves everyone.

reply

Oh Jerry is a good actor, he's just not funny enough to be called a comedian in my opinion. That's not to say he can't be amusing at times, like most other straight actors.

reply

He & Larry David -wrote- all that. Completely.

reply

Not "completely". There were another dozen or more writers for the show as well as Larry and Jerry. But my guess is that Larry David was probably the largest single contributor. Jerry has said that he found writing for Seinfeld "dreary".

reply

Fair enough, but I don't think we could reasonably think Jerry didn't have a lot of input on the writing, not to mention ad-hoc tuning.

The guy is a comedian. He was a co-creator of the show concept, its characters, the casting, the basic story structure. A lot of the dialogue sounds like Jerry's bits.

reply

bill hicks - all conspiracy nonsense.

reply

Agreed. Don't tell BillHicksFan.

reply

Yes, amen!

🤨

reply

Sarah Silverman

--Michael D. Clarke

reply

She was very funny early on, went woke a few years ago, and we know what that does to humor.

reply

Yes. Truly NOT funny!

🤨

reply

Anyone who thinks they're funny because they're fat so Melissa McCarthy.

reply

She can make me laugh.

reply

Well glad you can find her funny but I don't.

reply

Yep! Not funny.

🤨

reply

Dave Chappelle - He's brilliant as a sketch artist, I rarely find his stand-up funny.
Jim Gaffigan - Capable of being funny for about a minute. All downhill after that.
Bill Cosby - Even before he was exposed for what he is, I thought his stand-up was drawn out and dull.
Louis C.K. - A creep and pseudo-intellectual

reply

Chappelle, somewhere along the way, decided he was God.
Louis C.K., more a lecturer (like Chapelle these days), than a comic

reply

✔️

reply

Amy Schumer. I don't think I've ever laughed at any joke of hers. Not even a chuckle.

reply

Yeah I dislike her also.

reply

She is the worst. A repulsive pig.

reply

SHAME ON YOU.

reply

Why? It's not my fault she's a pig.

reply

I don't particularly hate her, I just don't think she's funny. At all.

Even Kevin Hart (who I think is kinda overrated) has gotten a few of laughs & chuckles outta me over the years.

reply

AMEN! Fat and NOT funny!

🤨

reply

Dane Cook
Amy Schumer

reply

Holy shit, I genuinely forgot about Dane Cook. He was kinda big in my teen years.

Tried to watch his stuff, found him painfully unfunny

Wonder what happened to him. I'm sure he's rich af but dude just fell into obscurity.

reply

Yeah, he was hugely popular with the teen and college crowd for a while, but you never even hear about him anymore.
