Further proof that the more things change, the more they stay the same. From an unusual source

Season 2, Episode 5 of Charmed, the original series

When Prue(transformed into a man)meets a former boyfriend at a bar, they have a conversation which mirrors much of the chatter we hear today....

"When it comes to dating women these days, I just can't figure out what they want. It's a real confusing time to be a man"

"You mean like in what way?"

"Like in every way. I mean even in opening up doors or pulling out chairs. Some women expect it, others hate it. They never know which camp there in until it's too late"

Great news though: What follows next indicates that then as now, all isn't so dreary:

"What camp do you think Prue is in?"

"Prue? The good one. The one that likes it. She's cool"

The series was actually just fine until Season 4. Unfortunately you can see the changeover in quality of writing when the show went to the WB (which later became the CW, and is now defunct) and their idiot writers got their claws into the show. The 3 actresses were fine, but the writing could be really dumb in later seasons.

THE SAME NOW AS IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE...WOMEN DO NOT HAVE A HIVE MIND...THUS EVERY SINGLE WOMAN WILL HAVE HER OWN MIND AND LIKES AND DISLIKES...THERE IS NO CHEAT SHEET...JUST THE WORK OF GETTING TO KNOW SOMEONE.

I have no idea what that means but I’m glad you enjoyed the show👍

Check out Magnum P.I.

That Magnum show had a black
dude with a helicopter, Commando missions, a tropical island, attack dogs, a Ferrari, plenty of silly shenanigans…It was possibly the best show of the 80s.

Seriously, watch magnum P.I. dammit!
