Don't know much about Bonnie Tyler.
Bonnie Tyler was a [EDIT] Welsh, female, Rod Stewart/Meatloaf type of singer, who worked with Jim Steinman (Music Trivia Andy).
shareI'm guessing you have a total eclipse there.
shareI know the song, but I just don't know enough of her to judge.
shareShe worked with Jim Steinman in the 80s quite a bit, and there is a lot of his style in her most popular songs. She has a very distinct, husky voice.
shareAnd I see that Mr King brought up Jim Steinman too. Oh well. But...I'm pretty sure she is Welsh.
shareOh Blimey, you’re right - sorry Wales 🏴 🙊
shareI WAS/AM A MASSIVE MEAT LOAF FAN AND I WAS/AM A MASSIVE SHORT CIRCUIT 2 FAN...I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO REMEMBER WHCH INTRODUCED ME TO BONNIE TYLER WITH NO SUCCESS...REGARDLESS I LOVE BONNIE TYLER...EASILY TOP FIVE FAVORITE FEMALE ARTISTS EVER.
shareI think it was Footloose which made me a Bonnie Tyler fan.
Unrelated sort of....Andrew Llyod Webber worked with Steinman on a musical adaptation of Whistle Down the Wind, and I remember the first time I heard the soundtrack without knowing anything about it I was like "this sounds like a Meat Loaf song" and wow, "Bonnie Tyler could be singing this", so I had to get the liner notes (yeah before google) and saw Steinman's name and was like, ooooh this makes so much sense now.
Nancy Sinatra? Nice person, but not really a great singer!

If you're talking just on singing ability/preference:
1) Janis Joplin
2) Bonnie Tyler
3) Cher
4) Joni Mitchell
5) Nancy Sinatra
However, if you are including songwriting and ability as a musician, I'd place Joni Mitchell at the top and bump everyone else down a spot.
