I finally saw Rocky for the first time

I never actually watched Rocky before, even though I've heard good things about it. I like Stallone in other movies so I decided to finally sit down and see the film.

I really liked it. I was surprised how much heart it had. The boxing scenes and training were cool, but I really enjoyed the characters and how it focused on Rocky's life, feelings and ambitions. I am looking forward to watching the rest now.

Do you have a personal favorite out of all the Rocky movies?

Rocky IV is my fave, its silly but very quotable.

Rocky is by far the best of the series. It won 3 out of the 9 Oscars it was nominated for. Back when Oscars actually meant something.

IV is my favorite sequel.

R1 is the best movie and the only one deserving of award.
R3 is my favorite.

Rocky 2 is almost as good, a little less heart, but better fight scenes.

Have you ever swallowed a raw egg whole? I thought I was so cool when I could do it. I only did it a few times. Lucky I didn't get salmonella....

I basically can't stand Stallone. He's a mumbling smirking goof ball. That said, I thought Rocky was great, very original, and a real tour de force for him as an unknown. Cop Land was good too. I can't think of anything else that works for me.

I've also heard he is a real jerk, which doesn't surprise me in the slightest. If you work for him and have the audacity to make eye contact, you're subject to be fired.

I love Stallone's and Lundgren's work. I hate them as human beings though. You really can learn a lot about people from what they post online.
