i try to catch up on movies i missed in 2022. so far on the watchlist:

Elvis
All Quiet On The Western Front.

i am trying to think of a few more.

not sure if we are going north yet. those six hour drives in winter are taxing.

And sometimes weather interferes and a trip is canceled. My grandkids are begging me to come visit soon, but I'm leery of the weather.

Jessica Chastain got an Oscar for putting on piles of makeup for The Eyes of Tammy Faye. Tom Hanks, obsessed with getting another Oscar, thought he'd get one for putting on piles of makeup for Elvis. He made sure the focus of the film would be as much about him as about Elvis. No thanks, Tom.
