🏈 The 1972 Miami Dolphins celebrate, as Washington beats the 8-0 Philadelphia Eagles

The 8-0 Philadelphia Eagles, the only undefeated team in 2022, fall to the Washington Commanders 32-21 Monday Night. So the 1972 Miami Dolphins remain the only team with an undefeated season. (They beat the Washington Redskins in the Super Bowl that year.)

Never underestimate when division rivals face each other, despite Philly being favored by 11 points. The Detroit Lions beat the Green Bay Packers two weeks ago.

Oops. I missed your post by a few seconds. Oh well. I firmly believe that on any given day, any team can beat any other given team, no matter what their record. Respect for the 1972 Dolphins.

FACT: The 1973 Miami Dolphins were a better team. Prove me wrong.

The 73 Dolphins had a tougher schedule, but the fact remains - the 72 team is undefeated. With the increase in regular season games, I'm not sure that will ever happen agin.

As a life long Miami fan, I was't thrilled when Washington won last night, but the missed face mask penalty when Goedert fumbled was a game changer and a really terrible missed call.

I think when they made the perfect season run, is when I started paying attention to them and then I was a big Marino fan.
