So how did he end up in a thread "I was never a fan of ..."?

(Just so you know, I like the Nez a whole lot.)

Westerns
The Beatles
Hockey
American Football

reply

There are 3 things on that list that warrant you getting banned.

reply

They are?

reply

NOT WHAT THAT DIPSHIT IS GONNA SAY...WESTERNS,BEATLES AND COMEDIES ARE GOODIES THOUGH. NOEMOJI

reply

I like some westerns, and some comedies, but overall they are genres I don't seek out. Now, if you were to give me a horror/comedy/western...I might be interested.

I don't hate the Beatles or anything, but I wouldn't call myself a fan.

reply

FAIR ENOUGH.

REVENOUS(1999)...FROM DUSK TILL DAWN AND NEAR DARK COVER THE HORROR/COMEDY BASES WHILE PLAYING LIKE SPIRITUAL WESTERNS. NOEMOJI

reply

Comedies, The Beatles and hockey.

reply

Comedy has to be mixed with another genre for me to be interested. Straight up comedies or slapsticks are not my cup of tea. RomComs, comedy/drama, horror/comedies are better.

Someone with your taste in music shouldn't judge others.

I mean also don't like the 80s??? What did an entire decade do to you?

reply

Do you think it's because comedies try too hard? Sometimes I feel that way with American sitcoms. That's why I prefer British sitcoms. They don't go for the easy laugh.

reply

I do prefer British comedy. The Full Monty is one of my favourite movies, but I do consider it a DramCom.

reply

You are very, very, very different from me.

reply

the beatles are foundational to rock/pop music.

reply

That doesn't mean I have to like them.

reply

that's like saying i love classical music but hate beethoven or mozart.

reply

How do you figure that? You could have two people singing the same song, in the same manner and I might like one and not the other.
I didn't say that I hated them or anything, but they have over 200 songs and I like maybe 15 of them. So I don't think that makes me a fan. I also didn't say that I didn't appreciate their influence on music. Beethoven is very influential, but he was influenced by Mozart. I appreciate, and like both of them, but they are not my favourite composers.

Adversely, Depeche Mode has over 200 songs, and I probably really like over 100 of them, and have a playlist that I listen to with 167 songs, so I'd say that makes me a fan. That doesn't mean that I am a fan of all bands who are similar to Depeche Mode. That doesn't even mean that I like some of the solo work from Depeche Mode members.
