How good are you at Chess?

Not bad.

I used to be very good, until I discovered the game Stratego, and never played chess again... I love adding the memorization element to the game, and now I look at chess as very boring. I also stopped playing because I realized people just memorizing opening moves from books, and didn't seem much like a game anymore. Bobby Fisher created a game, but the pieces would be all over the band, randomly.

I can hold my own in a game.

I like chess but I just play from time to time. I guess I am an average player.

I thought I was pretty good. I never joined any chess clubs or teams so only played for fun. I usually do well against others.

I once played my brother-in-law who was on his high school chess team. He whipped my butt. Apparently they taught him strategies and set ups that I never even heard of.
