I wanted to see if there are any discussions here about The Critical Drinker, but can't, cause you can only search for movie and TV show titles.
I know you can use Google using the domain, but that's annoying. Has this been brought up here before? Maybe one of the mods could look into this and get the site admin to add the function.

Yeah, that's the page for the drinker, but I wanted to see if there were any discussions in this board about him.
Based on your reaction, I'm guessing they don't interfere much here. That's a good thing - rather have inactive mods who don't over moderate and stifle discussion than a bunch of trigger happy mods who censor and delete anything that isn't in line with what they think is agreeable.
BTW, are you an Aries? My D.O.B is April 15th and am wondering if that's what your username is about.

You know, I honestly believe that you are in fact the first person to have ever suggested this.
I appreciate the sarcasm, but I only visit this board 2-3 times a year - am not a regular. Hence my asking if it has been brought up before ;)
shareYeah, I’m just kidding around. It gets brought up regularly, but the general consensus is that, although it’s a great idea, the chances of it being implemented are minuscule.

Technically, you can search the discussions in this board (for example) via Google using
site:https://moviechat.org/general/General-Discussion/
and then entering the search term, but it is annoying to keep doing that.
It's literally a small tweak to make the search function context aware, but the admin's got to do it to get it going.
Change happens at a glacial pace here.
