Almost three years sober. I quit smoking as well. My favorite drink varied over the years, but at the end it was vodka. Vodka is kind of the end of the line. No, wait---not just any vodka, but the super cheap stuff like Popov. Never got to that point. That's for the homeless bums.
shareYears ago I was at a liquor store buying some Gatorade. The guy in front of me bought a pint of Popov vodka. I watched him go out the front door then he opened the bottle and chugged down every last drop of that vodka in a matter of seconds. I've never seen anything like that before. Insane!
shareI'm two and a half years sober. I cut out the vodka long ago though and was drinking 8% IPA when I quit. I still smoke though. Not good to quit all your vices at once.

shareI would have multiples of snirnoff ice in a couple of shots of vodka. Like colt 45, it worked every time.

18 years sober, no drugs, other than caffeine.
quit smoking many years ago, thank the divinity of good sense for all those abstentions.

shareI AM CLOSING IN ON 20 YEARS SINCE I DRANK...I SMOKE A TON OF WEED AND DOWN CHERRY COKE LIKE ITS WATER BUT NOT A DRINK IN FOREVER.
