Do you think that the Beatles would have sounded more like Wings if they had stayed together?

Maybe John Lennon leaves or stays. Paul at this time was their leader.
If John left, then maybe George would have written and sung more Beatles songs. Maybe some McCartney- Harrison penned songs.
Ringo makes movies between records. Maybe he drags Paul and George into some of them.
Or Paul ends up bullying George and Ringo, becomes the main songwriter with George and Ringo doing a few songs on each album of which are basically "Wings" records.

Wings doesn't sound at all beatles-like. Hard to say, but their disparate talents would have resulted, as for example in the white album, in giving us a variety of textures.

But nothing lasts forever. They just never sucked during their time together. Wings was a far lesser product.

Largely because it was Paul working with inferior musicians and with no one willing to stand up to him and tell him when something wasn't working. And Wings didn't suck. Of course it wasn't as good as the Beatles, what is? I'm just saying Paul had a strong personality in the group in the later days. John had given up control of the group and Paul had seized it. Not to say that he was an iron leader. George often wouldn't agree with him, but largely would do whatever he wanted to keep the peace. John didn't want to do Get Back but went along with it anyway. Ringo seemed to support and care for the other three. I think that Ringo was the glue to this group. All of them got along with Ringo, even after the breakup. George wouldn't work with Paul, Paul wouldn't work with John, but they all would contribute to Ringo's albums. And what how many times did even George work with with John, like one album? So a lot of factors could have changed the sound to a largely McCartney flavor.

Nah, the influence of Lennon and Harrison and even Ringo wouldn't have let that happen. That's why the Beatles were so great. The way their talents influenced and interacted.

Ravi Shankar joins them and turns them into Four Blokes and the Street Shitter

Better question would be how many other bands would have tried to sound more like the Beatles if they had stayed together?
