Not solely for that reason, but they do catch my attention and if the post is presenting some kind of question I usually take a shot at it.

Sometimes I reply just so the OP feels like at least someone read my post.

Yes.
Sometimes I’ll go several days back on the boards to comment and bump a good topic with no replies, especially if it’s a poster I care for.

Yeah, especially if it's been days and it's posing a legitimate question that doesn't deserve to be ignored.

Yes if the topic is interesting. Although sometimes I bump it without an actual reply.
