I’m taking a break from classic rock, punk and metal this past week…I’ve been playing a bunch of old country like Kenny, Dolly, Willie and so on.
Jolene by Dolly Parton is a really good ‘story’ song, she’s pleading with some sexy young babe not to steal her man.
I bet you Jolene wound up in a river somewhere but I’m not saying Dolly did it, nobody would see or hear a thing.
