Will be in the future useless to learn a foreign language?

I mean, in order to get good jobs in some companies. It is still of importance to speak several languages but if in the future everyone is going to have in the smartphone or at work a translater App I am not so sure if it still will be important or not to learn them.

Yes, because it will be rare, even as demand goes down (since the internet Anglicizes language to a degree)

When I was in SE Asia about ten years ago, there was a demand for English speakers so much that one had to have a degree. I wonder how that is today. Once enough people know about English, it won't be as important to be an English teacher, and I don't think the vernacular matches the language on paper. Too much slang. Foreigners would always say how in school they learned English that is unusable, but I liked it -- they made perfect sense and used the proper words and expressed themselves than most Americans I know.
