Who uses Twitter?

Something I've never really gotten into. The layout and trying to open replies has always bugged me.

I've only really used it for live tv events when I want to tweet and read opinions as the show airs.

Like The Voice, I've had a judge like my tweet while watching the show. But I'll also get lots of reactions for nasty comments about how bad someone is. πŸ˜‚

For those scenarios, it's superior to other social media platforms.

But for other scenarios I just don't use it.

Yourself?

I just started using it to keep track of things like events and happenings.

I've never posted anything BUT I have an account to monitor posts. I value my privacy so I would never want to post my thoughts or other BS. I'm concerned that corporations are using twitter to make important decisions. I don't think social media represents reality since it's easy to create multiple accounts. I'm also concerned that Hollyweird is making entertainment decisions based on fake social media accounts.

I have an account but I never use it. I found the same as you, I couldn't quite navigate to anything I found useful.

If you're a fan of someone who is on there then I guess that would be good, but I'm just not interested in people's thoughts every few minutes of the day.

I don't get it tbh πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

i find it's really useful as a news feed if you follow the right people.

of course, my right people may not be the same as your right people!

It tends to be very negative, yeah. There's a reason the news media focuses so much on it, I guess. They use Twitter trends like its some kind of indication of public opinion generally.

I did use it for a while, but I was arguing with people too much. I do enough of that on sites like this one. :)

I also got tired of the amount of politics that kept showing up in my feed.

don't have an account and never will. sometimes i read them if someone says something stupid.
