Worst best picture winners
I think I would go with Chariots of Fire. Such a boring film.

shareMidnight Cowboy, Unforgiven. I gave up caring in 2009 when the Academy increased to 9 nominations for best picture.
shareTitanic has lots of strong points, the special effects and Kate Winslet in the buff namely. It wasn't worthy of Best Picture though. This was a Lifetime TV movie on a multi-million dollar budget

This one the product of a decade in which a shitload of teen girls still hadn't figured out that DiCaprio wasn't exactly hetero
I'd have to agree with Chariots of Fire. Outside a few scenes, it wasn't very good, especially for a BP winner. Raiders should have won it.
I haven't seen a BP winner since The Hurt Locker, which was also not so good. Most of the nominees seem to be part of the 'woke' culture, every year has to have at least one film depicting black people as the most noble, intelligent, hardworking people in the history of the world. Which has ruined these shows.
Chariots of Fire is very moving if you are a runner, a William Blake fan, or both, which I am. If you’re not, fuck yaz.
Best. Opening. Credits. Of All Time. If that doesn’t move you with its purity, there is something wrong with you.
Whatever. Agree to disagree. The music is good. Still overall not a fan.
