🗺️ Something I noticed 🗺️

A couple of days ago, I used Google maps to check the surroundings for a local business that I'm planning to visit. What I noticed is that Google has updated their satellite views for my area, after about 10 years. I know this because when I look at my city, you can see the effects of last summer's drought. Zooming in, the dry, brown lawns are very visible. Of course, if you look at some parts of town where upper income people live, their lawns are green. Many parks are brown, too, although ball fields are somewhat green.

I just found it interesting.

It is interesting. I always wonder about the people who are captured in some of those photos. We had a couple walking their dog when they took the photos of our area and I think it’s kind of weird to know every time someone looks up the address they’ll see that couple. Same with some of the cars on the street.

I can't remember where I saw this, but recently I came across a post somewhere and the poster said that they saw their now-late grandfather tending his garden. That must be weird, but also a bit heartwarming to see Grandpa doing what he loved.
