It took a GLOBAL PANDEMIC...

to get people to learn to cook!

Does anyone else find this sad?

I learned to cook before the pandemic. What are you talking about?

Cooking is fun!
Cleaning the mess is not though.

The secret is to clean up as you go. It's amazing what a difference it makes!

Or to learn how to use Uber eats

I prefer DoorDash.

Yes, it's sad. It's another indicator of how dumbed-down and indolent our society has become. I had to learn how to cook at a young age because both my parents worked full-time. My mom sometimes didn't get home until 9:00 pm.

I don't mind cooking because then I have control over the ingredients.

I learned how to cook at a young age because I didn't like my mom's cooking. She liked it because she could come home from work and dinner would be made. It was a win win for us.

You speak of the dark arts that take place in the room of the cooking and the cleaning that only my good lady wife understands.

reply

🤣

The sad thing is, I’m genuinely banned from that area of our household.

If that's how you're seeing it, apparently my mom, my brother, and I have all studied such arcane things, and dad dabbles in it from time to time, hehehehe.

reply

I have many male and female friends that have knowledge of such things.

reply

not in my case.
