shareI've been wondering that myself. Although he could be controversial at times, he definitely wasn't a troll. I'm thinking that he was probably a sock of a troll account maybe and when that IP address got blocked, that probably blocked this account as well. Either that or something happened to him. He definitely didn't do the same things that a lot of the trolls on here do. So I just don't see him being banned just from the things that he said. But he did seem to disappear around the same time as some troll accounts did.

shareAhh thanks, I read a few of his posts and it didn't seem like you. People pretending to be others sucks, it's happened to me too. For some weird reason someone used my notoriousrio username on other forums just to advertise about MovieChat, harmless enough so I donβt care.
I noticed it happened a few years ago when I found it on a music forum I was trying to register at, Iβve also found it on sites Iβve never registered at or even heard of before, and I wouldnβt care enough to advertise about this place anyway! π

I'm not sure if you know Ben, but he was a major troll who would stay up for days spamming IMDb's Soapbox. I hated him at first, but I got to know him on filmboards a little better, and he wasn't such a bad guy. He did create a lot of havoc though.
Nope I didnβt know him, on IMDb I only ever posted on movie related boards, mostly Star Wars and Batman films if I remember, I never even looked at all the off-topic boards back then.

Yeah, the 24 hour nonstop trolling which would go on for days. That's his hallmark. He has to be on meth or some type of speed.
Why is posting photos here necessary?
shareAs far as I'm concerned, posting a link to an image is fine. Otherwise, actual photos add too much clutter and take up a lot of space in the thread.
shareWe don't need photos and, like you said, links are sufficient. Otherwise MovieChat will turn into another site for the narcissists to brag and post pictures of their purchases, their vacations, or what they had for lunch. There are plenty of other sites for this type of nonsense.
