The truth is that we don't 'know' with absolute certainty. There are many theories. The idea that a scientific theory is more plausible than a creationist theory, or that the two are mutually exclusive is comical. There is an infinitely vast universe beyond Earth and to think that we have it all figured out is unbelievably arrogant and ignorant.
