Would depend on, A: what kind of journalist or lawyer they are, and B: what kind of person they are aside from their profession. There are good journalists and bad journalists, good lawyers and bad lawyers. It all depends on what kind of people they are, why they do what they do and how they do it. There are good journalists who are progressive, stand up for the people and challenge the powerful. And there are bad journalists who are reactionary and just parrot what their corporate bosses and governments tell them to say regardless of what's right or true. There are bad lawyers who are dirty and unscrupulous and just out for money and will do whatever they're paid for no matter whether it's right or wrong, and there are good lawyers that work within the legal system to combat injustice and defend the downtrodden.

i remember reading a book about the blitz in london during ww2. young couples thought the world was going to end so they said the hell with and had sex with anyone who was close by.

Why choose if the world's going to end anyway? No better time for a nice ménage à trois, I'd say.

So its the end of the world and the only two choices are two people who have spent years and heaps of cash studying for something that will be pointless soon? I don't think it would really matter. Who is hotter/who is more fun?
