Best cast members in Saturday Night Live ever?
I think there is a consensus that SNL today suck, so just choose a former cast members.
For me it always be Chris Farley.

shareThe triumvirate of Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, and David Spade was pretty great. Throw in Mike Myers and Dana Carvey for good measure. Ok let's not forget Phil Hartman and Will Ferrell. Amongst the black guys I like Kenan Thompson best. Eddie Murphy and John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd kind of goes without saying.
There are only a handful of female cast members I am indifferent to. Most are just terrific. Cheri Oteri always cracked me up, and she's not even the best known one.

Ackroyd, Murray, Murphy, MacDonald, Carvey, Meyers, Hartman, Ferrell, Wiig, McKinnon
there are gaps here because the show sucks for long stretches and i tune out.
The original + Murphy, Farley, Murray and McKinnon.

shareI'll always be fond of Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, Mike Myers who were there when I was 13 and as I got older the era of Sandler, Farley, Rock, Spade and Schneider started and was a big fan of all of them as well. The humor of that later group seemed really geared toward immature viewers so it was perfect for me.
I know watch I Think You Should Leave on Netflix and my mind is blown that SNL let Tim Robinson slip through their fingers. I connect with his brand of humor perhaps more than any other cast member past or present.
