Most unwoke movies ever?

Since 90% of this website seems to actively hate anything remotely woke, what are some movies that are the exact opposite of woke?

reply

Birth Of A Nation lol. It's pretty much a pro-KKK movie

reply

I've never seen it, but probably Loqueesha (2019)

reply

We should watch that one for movie club. It's awful!

reply

It looks awful, hard to believe it was made.

reply

Hush.

I don't want to watch really awful movies during MCMC.

reply

Sometimes it can be fun to make fun of them though. If a movie is too good, there isn't much we can say about it during MCMC.

reply

I get that, but let's try for movies that at least have a 4/10 on IMDB.

reply

Fair enough. Salo has a 5.8. Let's watch that!

reply

I've seen Salo. For the most part it's pretty boring.

reply

I'm just teasing. I actually do really like Salo and have it on blu ray though.

reply

The good ones.

You don’t think anyone is going to click that link, do ya?

reply

Hmmm...seems all their posts have a suspicious link in them.

reply

But I already clicked the link and gave him all my credit card info and Social Security Number! Was that not a good idea?

reply

Jeremiah Johnson is a possible candidate.

During the era of Manifest Destiny a greenhorn heads West to abandon society and winds up with an Indian wife, violates a local Indian burial ground to help the US Army Scouts and fights a violent war of attrition against the local tribe after his family is slaughtered.

It's likely Redford's best film along with Butch Cassidey.
They'd never make this movie today, the white man would not win today and would likely be killed by Zendaya or some other GURL POWER nobody.

reply

Great film. I thought about it and I’d say this is probably my favorite Robert Redford movie also.

reply

Breakfast at Tiffany's - Just for Mickey Rooney.

Soul Man

reply

Salo. I don't even think that movie could have been made "woke".

reply

Dressed to Kill. The Sean Connery and Roger Moore James Bond films.

reply

I think most people hate pandering and use the term "woke."
