maybe i'm whacked, but there are only two in this series, as i recall, whom i found to be much above average in attractiveness.

i think they were definitely going for the true girl-next-door look. nothing wrong with that.

I think you're right about girl-next-door (plus, Just Seventeen magazine was aimed at girls, not hormonal boys!).
