- 1 for being from the 80s
- 1 for sounding like a song from the 80s.
- 1 for the sax.
- 1 for the lack of catchiness.
- 1 for him thinking this song warranted a video.
- 1 for cheesiness
- 1 for lack of memorability
Final verdict: 3/10
this is absolutely not my style at all.
but i think it's a bit of a classic of this type of music.
8.5/10
i actually saw gm live in 88 on the faith tour. i signed up for one of those package tours to see prince in minneapolis, and michael was playing the next night, so i ended up catching that show too. & i gotta say he was shockingly great. weird show for me to see, since the audience was probably 95% shrieking teen girls, but the songs were great, his voice was perfect and the gig was genuinely fun and exciting.
I went to see him on the Faith tour also with my sister and a bunch of her friends. I would never had wanted to go see him if it had not been for them wanting to, but I have to say that concert was great and made me a fan.
9/10
8/10. The sax alone makes it impossible for me to rate it any lower. This was nearly peak 80s saxophone playing. You'd have to go to the Lost Boys soundtrack to find better.
shareAh poor old George and his guilty feet…
I wonder if he also had regretful earlobes and remorseful elbows 🤔
Anywho.. I don’t mind the song in a nostalgic way but it is not my favourite GM track by a long shot.
7/10 for the memories
I DIG IT...HARD...SAX IS BADASS AND GEORGE IS SELLING THE SHIT OUT OF IT...8/10
