Am I a bad person?

Hey guys,

Today, I was at a grocery store near my house. Was only buying a few things. I was at the cash register checking out. There was a woman in front of me who had a shopping cart full of items. When she finished putting them on the conveyor belt, she grabbed one of her items. It was a bag of trail mix. She looked at it and decided that she didn't want it. So she placed it on the candy shelf above the belt and proceeded down the checkout.

When I stepped up afterwards to put my things on next, I took the trail mix and placed it back with all her other groceries. Am I a bad person?

NO...I AM A BAD PERSON...I WOULD HAVE FOLLOWED HER TO HER CAR AND STOLEN HER PURSE AND GROCERIES...TRAIL MIX INCLUDED.🙂

If the woman didn't want the trail mix, she could easily have handed it to the cashier. Cashiers usually have a bin or some type of container for unwanted items that get taken back to the shelves.

I've seen frozen items sitting out on shelves because a customer decided they didn't want it. The proper thing to do would have been to either (a) return the item to the freezer where it belongs, or (b) tell the cashier they didn't want it.

People need to make up their minds and stop impulsive shopping. Make a list and stick to it. And quit being so lazy. Would it kill someone to walk a couple of aisles back to the freezer section?

Maybe. If the person was struggling to diet or was attempting to stay under a budget then you are 2% bad. But I like you.

I feel an urge to do something 2% bad when I see a person eating or drinking a product in the store before paying.
