Next Tuesday will be second shot plus six weeks for me. I kept on wearing a mask until the CDC issued its new guidelines, saying that those of us who are fully vaccinated no longer need to. But if a particular business wants customers to wear masks I respect their wishes, so I have masks ready to use.
I'm still doing the other things, though -- frequent hand washing, alcohol wipes, et cetera. Not because of fear of COVID, but because I haven't had a single cold since March 2020. I like not getting sick, so I'm going to keep those things up.
I don't know if I'll ever be asked to show proof of vaccination, but I made my own "vaccine passport." I photocopied my driver's license and my CDC vaccination record card together, enlarging them so their images take up a full page, and printed several copies. I carry one of those with me just in case anyone wants to know.
