What's Your Favorite Netflix Original Film?

There's plenty of Netflix originals that are rubbish, but there's also some gems...like Gerald's Game, Private Life, Velvet Buzzsaw, Marriage Story, and I Care A Lot.

My favorite so far has been White Tiger.

It's a brilliant book and the film is just as excellent.

I hope their film division continues to finance quality projects like this one.

Anyone else have a favorite?

the ballad of buster scruggs, probably. i haven't watched it since it was released, but i remember it being a lot of fun. wouldn't call it top tier coens, but it was solidly entertaining.

reply

I enjoy about half of the Coens stuff, so I should probably give that one a shot. I'm not the biggest Tim Blake Nelson fan, so that's what's been keeping me from watching.

Uncut Gems

Great movie...even though I was stressed the whole time I was watching.

reply

I think of it as a conceptual cousin to Punchdrunk Love.

Yes! Can't believe I left this off my original list. It's definitely one of their best.
