3rd album I bought as a kid
What is it about "old" songs that make them sound "timeless" and way better than the songs put out today?
shareMost of it sounds like auto-tuned crap today...None of it sounds real
shareI think the "downward spiral" started in late 90s with the "bubble gum" pop music that was big back then (NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, Britney Spears, etc).
shareThe auto-tune technology was invented to correct a singer's voice if they hit a couple of notes off-key. It saved having to re-record the entire take of the song.
It was never intended as a crutch to cover up ones lack of talent.
Auto-tune should be destroyed.
