I'm not sure about her voice. It's sort of 'folksy' but at the same time, very auto-tuned, so it's sort of a contradiction.

It doesn’t sound auto-tuned to me at all, on the contrary it sounds quite raw and imperfect, which is what I love about it.

I agree about the folksy vibe though, the album reminds me very much of Suzanne Vega.

Solid but it felt a little a little standard, like sweet and expected, but nonconfrontational.

It sounds like what Damien Rice was doing 15 years ago but with a bit less passion, so to me not particularly gamechanging.
