Why I think homosexuality should still be considered a mental illness

Loo loitering.

I've seen men, some who look like they're in their 70s, loitering around a toilet at a beach near where I live. I googled it and yes, it is a 'gay beat'.

Some sit around for hours.

Imagine being so depraved that you want spend your whole day hoping for a gay hookup with a stranger in a public toilet?

For that, I consider it a mental illness.

They're feeding a deeply depraved desire and for some I bet they don't even know why they do it.

Depravity.

Obsessive, compulsive behaviour.

Mental illness.

Don't heterosexual men do the same thing? Sit around hours at a beach, bar, theater, or wherever looking to get some.

You're painting everyone with a broad brush. Certainly, people who engage in such behavior have "problems." But, you can't pin this on all gay people.

What you're saying is the same as saying all gay men are pedophiles. Simply not true.

an awful lot of human behavior can be explained by the fact that men have limitless supply of sperm and women have relatively few eggs.

ask yourself this:

do lesbians do a lot of bathroom hookups?

there's a standard joke we've probably all heard that distills the issue nicely.

what do gay women bring to a second date?
a u-haul.

what do gay men bring to a second date?

Hadn't heard that one, but here's another. A man and woman, strangers, meet in a bar. Drinks are drank. Overly direct looks are exchanged. Personal space is invaded. Furtive brushing of fingertips is performed. Double entendres are uttered. And the two strangers go to a nearby hotel and rut like a pair of crazed rabbits.

The next morning they awake, still in bed together, and now fully sober. They each recall what happened the prior night.

"Oh my God," the woman thinks. "I just had sex with that man ... and I don't even know him!" (shocked and horrified)

"Oh my God," the man thinks. "I just had sex with that woman ... and I don't even know her!" (congratulating himself)
