I encountered a poster who has almost 8000 posts...

all politics. I asked him what his favorite movie was. He didn't appreciate my question. 😊😊

reply

Thats funny. I'm sure he's not:)

reply

I have a few people in mind.

reply

you think there would be one movie he is interested in. apparently not.

reply

Serves you right for asking a question about movies on a movie site. What were you thinking?

reply

I'm guessing it was the Nazi guy, the person that hates gays or one of those two posters that say anti-immigrant stuff in such a way that I simply stop paying attention to them...we have a few winners here latelyπŸ™„

reply

he doesn't post on GD which is a good thing.

reply

i couldnt deal with that much politics. my brain would melt from burnout.

reply

Let's vote to BAN politics from this site.

Ban the F out of politics and the morons who talk about it.....
I'm one.

LOL.

But I am dead serious.

reply

The idiots who never post about movies here would only go to the two other movie forums to talk about politics there, where it thrives also. So let them go! I sure won't miss their angst and anger.

reply

i think you are right.

reply

why do you post there?

reply

It does seem odd that someone that is so passionate about politics would chose to voice their views to such a limited audience (no offence to Movie Chat, but I imagine that there aren't a huge number of posters on the Politics Board). Wouldn't it make more sense to put these posts on a Politics website?

reply

I'm actually surprised by that. Considering this is primarily a movie site. Makes me wonder how they ended up here πŸ€”

reply

Oooh look, there's a site about films, lets bang on endlessly about politics?

reply

I would love for one of those users to explain why they pick here to rant about politics. And then, not only do they come to MC to talk politics, but they want to do it in the general discussion area. 🀨

reply

It makes no sense. If I wanted to reach the biggest audience possible to spout my political beliefs, I wouldn't choose Movie Chat.

reply

It's like going to the Leicester City forum and only ever talking about the Buffalo Bills!

reply

Yep, just a lot of people shrugging their shoulders.

reply

[deleted]

Haha we should do it! Their forum is pretty busy and no crap about politics or even the Buffalo Bills!
