Movie Recommendations For Me

I'm in desperate need of a great movie.. Every day I tell myself, "Watch a movie you haven't seen".. On the few occasions I have the will to watch, I see mostly duds.

I watch most of the movies I can from the 1930-70s, but I'm not looking for classics. I don't like "camp".. Most of what I watch is drama, dialogue driven - don't need action, or sci-fi.. Acting of course is important.

Here are the movies I've rated.. You can hit CTRL-F to quickly see if I've seen a certain movie or not

Thanks - and feel free to ask me for recommendations!

giving a look through a handful of your pages. you really seem to enjoy documentaries above movies. films you tend to take the under on your ratings.

do you watch American Experience on PBS? seen several i enjoyed.
planet of the humans (on youtube produced by michael moore who you reviewed several)

Valuetainment is a channel that interviews several mob guys gravano, leonetti, joe pistone (donnie brasco) also people in pop culture like Kobe bryant, i enjoyed some of the interviews not that i watch religiously.

Thanks for checking out my list and the recommendations.

You know, I tend to give documentaries high marks, because its hard to argue against someone's life, especially one I don't know. I've seen quite a few PBS specials, and if I remember correctly, there was a Mark Twain on "American Experience"

I did watch or skim "Planet of the Humans", but turned it off with affirmation, thinking, "Yeah, they make everything a business".. I like Kobe (damn, he died a year ago to the day I think) but I don't think I have that channel, but I can always search.

Cheers!

Great stupid movie
I saw it at a drive-in theater when I was a little kid

I had no idea what the hell was going on so I fell asleep in the back of Dad's gigantic green station wagon, like a gent he packed juice and sleeping bags for us kids
