So what kind of hobbies do you folks have?
I have a pretty massive stamp collection. Over 150,000 uniques and well over a million duplicates.
I've also started magnet fishing recently.

Wow! Nothing that intense here. My interests tend to wander, and I don't stick with one thing for too long. A few years ago I did a lot of work on my geneaology; haven't done that in a while but I've still got all the data, ready to pick it up again when I decide to revisit it. Before that it was B/W film photography. I had a small darkroom area that I had set up in my basement. Last year the hobby was writing a couple of add-on modules for a freeware game. The year before it was silent movies. Next year, who knows what it will be?
I paint and up until this year, I considered travel to be a hobby.
shareStereo equipment. I subscribe to Stereophile and The Absolute Sound.
shareYou're a whataphile?
*Proceeds to call authorities*
They like solid, hard things in 3 dimensions.....according to the Greek root of the word 🤔😆

I think audio changed Steve Guttenberg. He looks different than his Police Academy days.
shareI love stereo. I'm sad that the masses don't understand it's appeal and are buying units that are a left/right speaker in one, thus negating the purpose of stereo, the stereo field.
I love to set up my speakers and sit exactly between the two so that I can feel that field. Headphones just don't create the same effect.
👍
I feel the same way about headphones. I only use them for late night listening.
I have two complete systems in my house now so I haven’t bought much new lately. The one thing I’m in the market for is a new mixer to go between two of my turntables. Oh, and if I ever find a cheap Technics 1200, I would buy it immediately. 👍

Do you pronounce it tech-nicks or techniques?
I pronounce it as tech-nicks. They just command such a high price, even the old used ones, and I need two of them. 😳
shareMovies, music, stand-up comedy...
Traveling used to be a hobby
I collect vhs, dvd, cassettes, movie posters and vinyl records. I hunt, fish and do a garden every year. I usually have a boat or truck restoration project also.
shareI have a modest collection ( about seventy ) of vintage safety razors dating back from the 1920's through to the 1970's as well as present day new safety razors. I also collect DVD's and Blu-rays. The images are not of my razors but I have those models in good condition:

Hey, that's cool. An old friend's father was a collector and seller of stamps.
I collect gin, whiskey, vodka, and all sorts of bottles of booze. Full bottles never opened. It's strange because I don't drink myself I just like the bottles.
I do a ton a jigsaw puzzles.
PC games.
All sorts of shit I do. Hah-hah.
I like alcohol bottles too....some are very fancy, with nice labels, frostings, cases etc.
I don’t drink either, but can buy them (specifically single malt Scottish whiskey) for my partner who does drink the contents and displays the bottles.
> It's strange because I don't drink myself I just like the bottles.
I drink and I never save the bottles. Maybe we should work out some kind of arrangement. ;)
Astronomy, photography, road tripping, listening to music and a bit of fooling around with synthesizers.
