From 1950 only: Rashomon
Very few films from that year alone, it is too limited when considering a golden age of films.
From the 50's decade:
12 Angry Men
The Day the Earth Stood Still
Seven Samurai
My favorite movies of the 1950s are:
The Men
The Gunfighter
The Asphalt Jungle
Angel Face (1953)
The Caine Mutiny (1954)
Rear Window (1954)

Rashomon for sure. Can't beat Kurosawa in the samurai genre.
Asphalt Jungle and Sunset Blvd are great too.
I don't like All About Eve. It is proto-Diva stuff that is just as tedious then as now. (Always felt Davis was overrated)
Some titles from that year that I know I saw but cannot remember at all. For instance, I know I saw The Gunfighter but recall not a thing about it or if I even liked it.
EDIT: Also loved the Abbot and Costello join the Foreign Legion movie.
