what are your favorite platforms to watch movies at home?
Guys currently I use platforms like netflix or amazon prime; However, right now if I want to change, what other platform do you recommend or think that the one I use are the best

sharein addition to the services others have mentions (netflix, hoopla, kanopy, tubi), i subscribe to criterion & shudder.
criterion is an absolute treasure trove, & not just of the proper prestige films that you might associate with them. they've got tons of great noir thrillers, horror films added for october, tons & tons & tons of great stuff.
shudder has a small catalogue, but i think they really go out of their way to find interesting, odd little obscurities. & it's cheap, too - for me, the best value for the amount of money it costs of any service.
for canadians, cbc & ctv are both hosting films on their sites that you can stream with ads, they both have pretty decent little catalogs.
& peacock, nbc's newish streaming site has lots of fun stuff, including a pretty neat classics section. this past weekend, the great director whit stillman was nice enough to recommend a film streaming on peacock (desire from 1936) to me on twitter, and i enjoyed it quite a bit.
Netflix.

Only relevant to Australians, but I absolutely fucking adore SBS On Demand. They have an eclectic mix of foreign, cult, mainstream and classic movies, all for free. It’s so good that I would pay for it if I had to but since it’s run by a public broadcaster I can just go to it when I want something different than all the paid services and I’ve discovered so many good films/filmmakers through it. It’s really great.
shareI like to relax on my couch, all these other replies make me a bit uncomfortable.
