Men who constantly complain

are seriously unattractive. They could physically be really nice to look at, but the moment they start whining about everything....ugh. So unappealing.

reply

What if they think Boogie Nights is ‘a masterpiece’?

reply

That depends on if they also complain that it is underrated and underappreciated or not.

reply

I’m guessing the same goes for King Kong (2005) and The Irishman, lol.

reply

I agree!
I once broke up with a woman because she was really rude to a waiter

reply

I always have gone by the rule that if the person you are dating is nice to you, but rude to those serving you, they are not a nice person.

reply

I totally agree with you . One woman I dated let her dog with muddy paws jump on me to see how I’d react on our first date

reply

Oooh. How did you react?

reply

I thought it was awesome. I love dogs and especially that little guy. I was dressed nice because it was a first date too . So the date went well. Kind to animals and restaurant staff (grocery staff, library staff) are big check marks for me .

reply

Nice! I met a guy in a park with my dog before going on a date. He said he liked dogs, but wasn't really nice to mine so the date never happened.

I also was on a date with this guy and this other man tripped and spilled his drink on my date. The man was so apologetic and offered to buy our dinner, and my date was a real jerk about it. Going on about his $300 shirt getting ruined. I ended the date by telling him that my $2 shirt from the goodwill looked much better on me than his ugly $300 shirt looked on him, and I left to call for a ride.

My shirt really wasn't $2 or from the goodwill, I think it was part of a clothing swap with friends so probably free, I just hated how he was all about brands and telling me how expensive his things were.

reply

Oh my god I agree, hate those people . I own one suit, which I have not worn since my job interview 2 years ago. My favorite outfit are my 22$ Walmart track pants and long sleeve Ny giants shirt. The most expensive clothing I own are my silk Christmas pyjamas which I can only wear two months a year . Shopping in pyjamas I love !

reply

Shopping in pyjamas can be fun, but I do strive to keep my appearance well above "people of Walmart" standards. Hahahaha

reply

Haha. Fair enough . So you’re too good for us Walmart people now . I guess a second date is out of the question .

reply

I didn't say that I never shop at Walmart....lol. I just don't think I'll end up on a website making fun of how people are dressed.

reply

You’re dog would love me. Just saying ! Haha

reply

On the other end of the scale, if I was wearing an expensive piece of clothing and there was an accident, I’d be cool - that’s what dry cleaners are for, right?

reply

It would have been one thing if the guy who spilt was a jerk, but he was mortified and felt horrible.

reply

It’s an accident, right? It’s a rare occasion when somebody intends to spill something. People need to chill. It’s just stuff (clothes) afterall.

reply

How people treat servers and employees says everything about them.

However, I have known some upstanding, excellent people who just weren't animal people. Not cruel to animals but simply reserving their affection for humans. Although that is weird to me (I love cats and dogs), I cannot say that they were bad people. It mystifies me how an otherwise cool person is not drawn to our furry little monster friends.

reply

I wasn't trying to imply that people who don't like animals are bad people. This particular person told me he loved dogs, and then wasn't nice to mine. He was pushing her, and was just not nice if that makes sense.

reply

Totally get it. Ignoring a loved pet is one thing but getting physical is another.

Dislike of animals is usually a red flag. I was only noting some exceptions to that I have encountered. So far, no exceptions to the "how they treat waiters" litmus test.

reply

What about people who complain about childbirth being miracles?

reply

I can't speak for all women but....I would say that complaining is complaining and it gets really old, really quickly.

reply

Is it more difficult to make them laugh?
