What are some of the best documentaries?

I love good documentaries because sometimes, truth is stranger than fiction and a lot of the time, I find real life more compelling than stuff in most Hollywood movies. Here are some documentaries I’d recommend to everyone:

Free Solo (2018) won the Oscar for Best Documentary feature. I saw it in an IMAX theater...Awesome! Several other climbers have fallen to their deaths since then.

Scared Straight! (1978) - The filmed depiction of a program where convicts tell troubled kids about the horrors of prison life.
