My favorite vampire film is: Byzantium (2012).

And I love a bunch of other ones, too many to list, some that come to mind:

From Dusk Til Dawn (I'm a fan of Clooney's performance and I love the twist that it begins like a crime movie)
Fright Night (1985)
Interview With The Vampire
Blade 1 and 2
Dracula (1992)

I have only seen Let The Right One In the remake and I liked it.

I remember liking some of the scenes where Nicolas Cage goes crazy in Vampire's Kiss, but I haven't watched that movie since in over a decade.

Sort of a guilty pleasure: Vampires (1998)

I saw Cronos some years back and I didn't really like it, but it's a good movie.

I have never watched What We Do In The Shadows... want to.

Still not sure if Bela Lugosi played vampires or if a vampire played Bela Lugosi.

Interview with the Vampire
Underworld
Blade
The Lost Boys
Let the Right One In
Once Bitten (it's kinda terrible, but I love it)

reply

I was hoping someone would write Once Bitten!
It's a fun little movie.

reply

Admittedly it's terrible, but I like it. Not many people I know have seen it though, which is odd.

reply

Mine is kind of a obscure one.

Shadow of the Vampire (2000) John Malkavich, William Dafoe.

The ending is great.

reply

Dafoe is great in that!

reply

Yes afterwards I tried to figure out who did a better acting job, Dafoe or Malkavich... but I will have to go with Dafoe.

reply

I think I need to see this. I’m not sure how I missed it I’m a fan of both those guys.

Thanks for the tip 👍

reply

Best just to watch it blind don't read anything.

1 Bram Stoker’s Dracula
2 Interview with the Vampire
3 Let the Right One In

I loved the first few seasons of Buffy, but most vampire films are so lame for some reason. Maybe I'll go with Coppola's Dracula just because of the beautiful cinematography. And Blade because it's a decent action flick.
