Only bad parents let their daughters watch films like these!

Since the beginning of time, women have given in to temptation with ease. A great example would be Eve the first woman. Eve was easily coerced into trespassing, eating the fruit from the one forbidden tree, and convincing Adam to do the same. The serpent knew Eve was the weaker link of the two and he took full advantage of that.

Being that women are less dominant in the two genders (mentally and physically), we can not fault them for their thinking capability or weaknesses. Instead, we have to protect them from evil, and most of all, themselves.

Since Hollywood has such a big influence on the younger female minds, such films should be banned from viewing. Teenage girls who watch these kinds of offensive and misleading films are more likely to idolize and imitate what they see. Protect your daughters from becoming promiscuous and sexually active at a very young age.

American Pie - This gross over the top film is nothing more than a sophomoric sex romp of teen utter stupidity. This film not only corrupts the young but the older female mind as well. It is definitely not okay to be an older single divorced mother who goes around sleeping with her son's teenage friends. Also, the scene with Nadia sends out the message that it is acceptable to be in a boy's room unsupervised. Lastly, with all this depraved teenage sex, nowhere in the film you will find the promotion of condoms and safe-sex.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High - Here you have an innocent and curious young woman who finds herself in sexual exploration. This film teaches high school girls to gallivant with horny old boys in search of answers, instead of talking to your parents for guidance and education about the dangers of being sexually active at such a young age. Jennifer Jason Leigh also negatively influences young women into thinking it is okay to bare it all in front of the camera for the whole world to see.

The Girl Next Door - Where to start with this film? It promotes prostitution, pornography, drug use, and underage drinking. Elisha Cuthbert paints an image that taking the easy way out is all right as long as it is convenient and you look like innocent eye-candy. She also contributes to destroying what women have been working towards since her character glorifies the image of being controlled by a pimp, played by Timothy Olyphant. There are so many negative messages in this waste of film stock masquerading as a movie.

Pretty Woman - Never mind the fact that the female lead is a prostitute, who the audience is supposed to warm up to and adore. Never mind the fact that this film suggests being a lady of the night will get you that rock-star life most teenage girls want to experience. Well, what a load of malarkey! The adverse message in the is film is so misleading. Basically, it exhibits that there is no consequence for living an immoral life as long as you are pretty. If you are beautiful and breathtaking you can do whatever you want without fearing the repercussion. Life is not a fairytale and women should not be tricked into thinking their looks are all that matters.

Easy A - Yes the female protagonist does come off as a young confident woman with high self-esteem, but she also conveys that a tarnished and stained reputation is adequate; so long as you get material things out of the situation. And yet, the one decent role model in the film was made to be the antagonist. I won't even get into why she was made the bad guy, but she was. I do have one positive statement I can make on the film. At least the female lead was not some anorexic (like the cast of Mean Girls 2), brainless, bimbo right off the cover page of Allure Magazine. Teenage girls have enough to deal with and adding the pressures of how much and what you can eat is outrageous.

Too long don't read.

reply

Sorry, I didn't take into consideration the limited.

reply

Based on the thread title I concluded that there was no way it was worth reading all that.

reply

I think you and MovieBuff will be great friends...

reply

I don't know the person. I am new here.

reply

Don't feed it.

reply

Exactly, with a username like ItsGood2BeRight I'm sure they have the best intentions of posting real thought provoking, intelligent discussions. SMH.

reply

That all depends on how you interpret my user name. Am I always right and never wrong or am I feeling good for being 3 spaces past center-right?

reply

Yeah, neither one of those implies that you are here for any reason other than to stir up shit.

Pass.

reply

Passing is your god-given right and freedom of choice. I always thought forums were platforms provided to us for discussion, debate, or general conversation.

reply

They are. But you are not off to a great start when you are downright sexist towards women. You may or may not be new here, but enough! There are more than a few women here who have had enough. If you are a woman, stop thinking so lowly of your sex, and if you are a man, just stop. We don't need another poster here who just shits on women.

We do not need any trolls telling us that we need men to protect them from evil, and most of all, themselves.

Not wanted here.

Take it to the politics or religion board.

reply

Or you could pass as you posted earlier. I am new to this site. However, I am also here to stay.

reply

If you are new to this site as you say, and not someone who has been here before and has left for whatever reason, or just a sock, then please tell me what you hope to accomplish by having your first post (other than your deleted one) being misogynistic, insulting, and obviously trolling for reactions??

The syntax of the writing and the general feel of this thread makes me think of MovieBuff.

How so? Just like most level headed people wouldn't let a child watch pornography, a parents duty is to protect their teenage daughter from misleading information. A teenage girl's mind is very susceptible to the norms of Hollywood malice.

reply

I'm enjoying the irony that the OP thinks girls should be protected and prevented from watching these films. Just in case they decide for themselves.

reply

I'm sorry but raising a child shouldn't be a democracy. Two parents lay down the law and that is the word.

reply

In that case why didn't you list actual films and tv shows that could be harmful rather than some pretty silly and light weight films?

reply

I listed the films that I recently viewed. I don't watch much television.

reply

Two parents ?

reply

Two parents ?explaun how it’s two parents

reply

I'm only going off of what is tradition and considered normal. A mother and a father raising children together as a whole which is called family.

reply

Stiffler has a single mom in a single attached family dwelling. Also what if you were raised by nanna and pappa or an opa or a le in house care giver ?

reply

Stiffler has a single mom in a single attached family dwelling.

Exactly, and look at the results of his outcome. There is nothing to be proud of there from a parent's point of view. This is my point, with proper guidance, and both parents at the helm children have a greater success rate of becoming a decent contributing citizen to society.

reply

It was because stiffler went on to be an assistant football coach ? Is that a bad job ? My uncle Jose football coaches high school 46 years sir !

reply

Also in 3 men and a little lady she had 3 dads and a mom and that mean guy who was almost her dad. So what if she had one mean dad instead of 3 nice ones ??

reply

Is there a test later?

reply

A test of strength, character, and morals comes to mind.

reply

Should I bring a pencil?

reply

Perhaps, but I'm sure the OP would think that I'm probably not bright enough to figure it out. since I am a weak minded woman.

reply

Both of my girls understand the definition of fiction. We all should, regardless of age.

reply

As a kid I watched a lot of action and western films, not once did I ever think that it was ok to shoot people. No one had to explain that to me either, I knew it was just movies.

Makes me wonder, is it kids or adults who have become dumber to think it needs explaining now?

reply

👆 exactly !!

Wait! What? You mean some films are just made up stuff?

I recently found out that coyotes can outrun roadrunners too. As if finding out that roadrunners are actual birds a few years back wasn't enough!
